Application of Drying Technology in Veterinary Drug Producti Time:2018.03.22
     According to statistics, there are more than 2,000 veterinary drug production enterprises in China. There are about 2,000 kinds of veterinary drugs produced, and the annual output value has exceeded 15 billion yuan. There are more than 50,000 operating companies in China and annual sales are about 17 billion yuan. . The main dosage forms are only water injections, tablets and injections, and the proportion of raw material medicines is less than 5%. There is a lack of pouring agents, sustained release agents, aerosols, etc. for the prevention and treatment of group diseases that are needed by the market. The production environment, equipment and processes of most production plants are simple and backward, and the production scale is small. Veterinary drug research and development innovation capacity is weak, the number of new drugs is small, and the product technology content is low. The Ministry of Agriculture has limited the deadline for the end of 2005 to meet the GMP requirements for veterinary drug manufacturers. This indicates that the overall level of veterinary drug production will be improved, competition for survival of the fittest will be more intense, and it will be conducive to the development and application of new technologies, new processes and new products. Spray drying is one of them.
    Spray drying is a method of fluidization technology used to dry liquid materials. Because it is instant drying, especially for heat-sensitive materials, the resulting product is of good quality, maintains the original color and fragrance, and is easily dissolved. Studies using spray-drying to prepare microcapsules are under way. They are suspended in a solution of a cloth material and sprayed into a hot air stream by a centrifugal atomizer. The resulting product is a microcapsule made from a cloth material. The microcapsule powder can be used for direct compression, capsules, syrups or suspensions.
     Freeze-drying is a method in which the liquid material to be dried is frozen into a solid, and the sublimation performance of ice is used under low-temperature decompression conditions to dehydrate the material at a low temperature to achieve drying. Because the material is dried under high vacuum and low temperature conditions, it is particularly suitable for the drying of certain extremely non-heat-resistant substances. The product obtained by spray freeze-drying is small in size, fast in drying, short in time, uniform in flow, good in fluidity, and has good instant solubility.
Dryer product and technology profile:

Another veterinary drug research and development and granulation technology
Fluidized bed granulation, also known as one-step granulation technology, can greatly reduce the amount of auxiliary materials. The content of extracts in the particles can reach 50% to 70%. The particles are formed under boiling conditions, the surface is round and the fluidity is good. At the same time, because the granulation process is completed in a closed granulator, the production process is not easily contaminated and the quality of the finished product can be better protected.
     In rapid agitation granulation, the container containing the solid material (auxiliary materials) is usually lifted tightly, and the extract is added from the feeding port to open the three-direction stirring blade to rotate at a certain speed so that the material is thrown from the bottom of the container to form a rotation along the wall. The waves, when passing through the high-speed rotating squeegee, are cut into small pieces with a certain water chest, and the small pieces rub against each other to form spherical particles. The method produces uniform and round particles with less auxiliary materials and the granulation process is closed and fast.
    Dry granulation is the use of liquid chemicals with a certain relative density. After the spray drying, the dry powder is obtained. After a certain amount of auxiliary materials are added, the pellets are compacted by a roller. The method requires less auxiliary materials, even without accessories.
